2006 vintage. Cork easy to extract. A rusty rosé color. Slightly dirty/earthy with light-medium body and still plenty of acidity to shepherd the proceedings along in a timely manner. Brewed by Shepheard Neame, Britain's oldest brewery, especially for Aldi, this porter is a good offering of the old style that once made up many a pint in pubs before the 1960s. A good dark colour with hints of coffee and chocolate and malt. Light carbonation with a tan head that dissipates slowly.
