Tonight I have opened the 2013 Shea Wine Cellars Estate Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard Willamette Valley to start my weekend off.
On the nose is cherry, cranberry, raspberry, cola, clove, vanilla, charred oak and wet leaves.
The palate reveals tart cherry, tart raspberry, cranberry, vanilla, cola, vanilla a bit of spice and earth.
The wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity with medium firm fine tannins that leads to a long tart cherry finish. Stay safe, live life and enjoy your weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 13 days ago
2013 vintage. Tulips, ripe cherries in tree, raspberry essence. Holly and spearmint apparently had a winter tryst under a spray of delicate cranberry blossom. Pickled strawberry and dry pinecone emerge from a smoky cave, there is a citrus whiff, from a nighttime grove ringed by oregano. Light mouthfeel with electric potential. Subtleties abound. Cranberry meets rolled, red apple skin, chewed leather, applewood chips, bitter cherry, dried rose petals and smoky, red saffron. #pinotnoir #oregonpinotnoir #sheavineyards #oregon #pinotparadise #noir #noirs #boedecker #pn #pinotweknow — a month ago

PBNJ, cocoa powder, blue and black fruits, capers, licorice. Medium light body. A little big for Oregon. Very nice. — 11 hours ago
2015 magnum big bold red fruit, lots of body and spice will continue to get better IMO!! — 18 days ago
Gorgeous Pinot with Oregonian restraint that really tastes more like a burgundy than anything I’ve had from OR before. Delicate and balanced dark red berry, rhubarb & tobacco on the nose. Very elegant wine. — a month ago
