My first oregon pinot. So much nose I loved it. A little fruit forward but acidity and tannin is well balanced. Would try more from this region. 2015v — a month ago
Clear bright ruby. Inviting nose of black cherry tea. Medium palate of the same with subtle hints of vanilla and anise. Sounds more simple than it is. Low tannins that mildly assert towards the finish. That plus the medium acidity makes for an outstanding dinner wine that will support a wide range of light to medium-hearty fare. Drink now through 2026. — 3 months ago
Super nice nose w loads o strawberries n other red berries. Taste is more limited n tight but very enjoyable. Good structure. — 23 days ago
Balsamic glaze on the nose but not in a way where it smells past. Velvety and opulant on the palate with rich stewed cherries.
this one does show signs of aging with potential to mature just a little more. I have had other 2008 Alexana's that are just beginning to enter their prime. — 4 months ago
Firing on all cylinders! 🔥 Red and black fruited with a velvety texture. Cola and kirsch. Honestly still could’ve aged for another 3-5 years. Iconic Willamette Valley vineyard from one of the great producers in Oregon. — a month ago
