Tonight's wine of choice is the 2017 Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
The nose reveals notes of grapefruit, kiwifruit, guava, papaya, jalapeño, herbs, lemongrass and wet concrete.
On the palate there is pronounced notes of lime, grapefruit, kiwifruit, melon, celery and salty minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with medium to plus acidity that lead into a medium to long clean, refreshing, salty minerality with citrus finish. I hope everyone's weekend was a good one and we all look forward to the week ahead. Please be safe and make the week a positive one. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 11 days ago
Full bodied. Deep cherry flavour and aroma. Great socializing wine — 18 days ago
This nose is big, and wafty.
Cinnamon and Blackberry, wrapped in freshly risen yeast.
A hint of a sweet, yet in a pie spice way, blackberry twigs and branches, touches of fireplace, and a harmonious relationship between the oak, and long live the acid!
Central Otago are my favorite Pinot’s as well as Tasmania. Perfect climate. — 22 days ago
Excellent Estate Grown FLX Riesling. Lots of apple fruit with gripping acidity. Hint of beautiful petrol on the nose. Good balance and freshness. Very well made and excellent QPR. — 13 days ago
Nose of chicory, cocoa powder, and an interesting minty/menthol note.
Pretty substantial roast notes with creamed coffee, bitter walnut, and touch of underlying caramel. Dries out just enough with a touch of bitterness to keep it drinkable.
Rich, malty red with nice roast influence. — 13 days ago
