A more leaner rendition of this varietal, but in a good way. Nose displays clean cinnamon and toast. Palate is broad and expansive, yet light on its feet. A kiss of vanilla pod and black fruits conclude an excellent presentation. This is an intellectual wine.

Blend of primarily Sangiovese (70%) along with Sagrantino (15%) and Merlot (15%). Medium ruby color with purple highlights and a garnet rim. Aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate, violets, leather, forest floor and dried herbs. Black cherry, cassis, pomegranate flavors with additional hints of tobacco, black licorice and wet soil.
