Drank 6/5/19. Very nice with Rigatoni Bolognese.
Scents of red cherry, leather, and a hint of earth. Bright red fruit flavors of red cherry and strawberry, backed by medium tannins. A touch of spice on the medium, red fruit filled finish.
Very nice for the price (around $15 at Costco).

Very dry & crisp. Aerated but maybe could be better over time. — a month ago
Still young but a energetic Barolo. Really dig this one. — 3 months ago

Delicious. Mid to light bodied, as if a crisp Pino noir and a heady cabernet sauvignon had a baby.
Bright but almost savory. Good but balanced tannins. Subtle fruit, black currents and minerals.
Fits almost any food except very fatty meats. Was great with poke', with mushrooms and with lobster. — 5 days ago
Maybe this wine just needed an extra few years in the bottle because this one is singing. Red fruit, plums, green cedar hedge from my youth, roasted meats, and yes, tar and roses galore - a lot going on. Sure, not the most robust Barolo in the tasting room, but a pleasure to drink and better than it was in its youth IMO. Feels like this has rounded a corner to even better things to come — a month ago
What a nose. Stunning old school Nebbiolo. Maybe my favorite of all the Italian producers we carry. Rose, mineral, leather so feral and wild. Spice and mineral. Juicy, mineral man is this mineral and lovely elegant red fruits. Sappy and so fine. Excellent value. Needs 45 minutes to breathe. — 24 days ago
