Decent, a very nice surprise and the first wine I’ve had at home for far too long! Very savoury, with youthful longevity through the finish. Thought at 7/8 years this would be ready to drink - it was good, but if I had any more I’d throw them down for another 3+ years — 3 months ago
Fresh and racy approach to Chardonnay which could use a little more creaminess to carry it through the finish as it falls a bit short. Otherwise nice stuff. — a year ago
This is quintessential Ribera del Duero. Upfront and exuberant, it transports you to a hot - I mean, HOT - summer's day in the Spanish countryside. The warmth almost exudes from the bottle. Firm but well-integrated tannins mingle with dark red berries, bramble and herbs; the result is a particularly savoury wine that will benefit notably with age. Try this in five years. — a year ago
Emulating of a northern Rhone style Syrah, it's mellow with an engaging and youthful presence that carries it through. — a year ago
Full of tough leather and cedar, this is a savoury wine with a formidable tannic presence. Quite brooding straight from bottle - left for a couple of hours in a decanter and this would be very good. — a year ago
As fresh and bursting with tropical flavour as any wine could get, you can easily imagine having this as a late morning aperitif in a hot climate with the sun cracking the flags. Absolutely divine, with a pleasingly long finish. A memorable wine. — a year ago
