Tentative on the nose but what a palate!! Creamy, zesty with a distinct Champagne-like finish. — 24 days ago
Dense on nose. Difficult wine to break down, perhaps because of age (i.e. too young) or needing decanting. But drinking on second night, it's too astringent, too high in acidity for a seven year-old reserva. Pleasant, but expected better. — 2 months ago
WOW. Fat, exuberant and utterly classy wine. Prominent notes of baked apples and a crisp acidity keep this wine fresh and lively; feels like it has been desperate ever since bottling for its cork to be popped. The nose is an intense cascade of toasted brioche, yeast and a hint of truffle, followed by a palate that engrosses you for minutes. Deep golden in colour, it's a creamy, generous wine. Powerful yet superbly poised. Incredible. — 2 months ago
Well-constructed, showing decent balance. Nothing mind-blowing but pleasant to drink. Cedar and lavender on the nose, then very jammy with a pink mouthfeel. Gentle but notable tannins. — 2 months ago
Everything I expected this wine to be, and more. Perfectly balanced and well-rounded, with a sumptuously textured mouthfeel. This wine simply melted in the mouth; I could hardly even notice it going down, the finish tingling and lasting for minutes. — 2 months ago
Simple, with a fairly lacklustre palate. What a shock! Glad I wasn't the one paying 280 bucks for it... — 3 months ago
