Flavors of cranberry, red cherries, red plums, tobacco, Earl Grey tea, dark chocolate, grilled herbs and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Dusty tannins, firm structure and bright acidity. 100% Sangiovese. Soft and velvety but oh so expressive! Aromas and flavors of red and black fruits. Complex accents of forest floor, tobacco, dried herbs, black licorice and coffee. Recommended by Luca like the other 3 wines the last 3 dinner evenings.
For me, this is the best joice out of the 3 with the first the least.
Full body, nice deep red, not harsh and too rhubarb.
Very smooth taste of chocolate and berries with some ending of leathery.
Excellent !

Apologies for the soiled label. Pale Ruby with a tawny edge - almost transparent. Dusty earthy mushroom aromas. Oak is absorbed and so are the tannins. Barely medium weight, elegant in fact. Interesting for a Barolo / cherry notes on palate. Perfect to accompany food - in this case home made pizza. One of the lightest Barolos I’ve ever tried but very enjoyable. — a year ago
