Dec 20th, 2025always enjoy Dolcetto from Dogliani and i've had this producer's Barolo but this was a bit of a letdown. reductive nose, some fruit, spice & dried herbs but never really came around - palate was decent but some astringency on finish. too much rusticity

Deep, rich, dark berry, & woody notes on the nose. Black cherry, blackberry, and currant on the palate with oak and leather. Dry, pleasant rustic tannins on the finish.
