Really incredible and dense. Thought it was excellent and took about 2 hrs to open. So much excellent dirt. — a month ago
New Years Eve dinner - which red wine to drink?! 🤔
Finally settled on an old favorite - Paul Jaboulet Hermitage.
Did not disappoint - smooth, concentrated fruits, with a hint of earthy, charcoal, tobacco.
Nice way to end our wine drinking for 2025, here’s to more great wines in 2026! 🥂 — 3 months ago

1hr+ decant. Dark red color with subtle bricking. Complex nose of massive blue fruit with caramel and cedar. Same on the palate with subtle tea. Medium plus depth and finish. Bottles like this are why I’ve been buying this every year for over a decade. — a month ago

A small portion of Pinot Noir (which makes up approximately 80% of the blend) still wine is added for color; the balance is Chardonnay. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The Grand Rosé pours a pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, red apple, a mix of orchard citrus fruit, marzipan, a hint of brioche and lovely minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and round. Very easy to like. Drink now. Disgorged February of 2025. — 6 days ago
