Made from 100% Albariño from the O Pucha Estate, An outstanding Albariño, but ‘20 was better. Bright pale lemon with aromas of stone, tropical fruits and elegant floral scents. On the palate flavors off melon, peach and pineapple with honey-like tones. Well structured and balanced, medium+ finish ending with savory mineral tang. Nice! — 2 months ago

Aromas of honeysuckle, peaches, apricot, dried fruits, unfiltered honey.
I don’t know what the ratings are smoking. Maybe people are biased towards Eurocentric/American winemaking traditions we’re used to seeing in the marketplace.
With a winemaking tradition 8,000 years old that claims to be the birthplace of wine, this is as old world as you’re going to get.
Honeyed yams and sweet potato, dry like the tartness of an unripe peach, tea like qualities.
I think this is lovely (especially for a tasting). It’s going to stack up nicely with some fun cheeses. Excited. — 4 months ago
