O Rosal Rías Baixas Albariño
This wine is a little more than two-thirds Albariño rounded out by Caiño Blanco and Loueira, two grapes from the northwestern Iberian peninsula. It has a lovely golden-green hue and a brisk nose of stone fruit, Meyer lemon and flowers. The palate shows those qualities plus a hefty load of minerals and acidity, enough to make oysters a great idea.

Oct 15th, 2018A stellar white! Peaches and flowers on the nose. Melon, apples flavors and a little note of peach and white pepper on the clean finish. Perfect acidity. A bit of volume on this one, which makes it a great example of Rias Baixas Albariño.

Jun 23rd, 2018Elan described it as salty, peaches, bay leaves. So good. Nice acidity. I get pear aromas. Pair it with local spiny lobster paella in Mallorca with a view of the sea. Happy Father’s Day to me 😜
