Light golden in color with a yellow hue.
Pretty nose of tropical fruits, citrus, yellow apples, melons, pears, bananas, pineapples, spices and white pepper.
Medium bodied and refreshing with bright acidity.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, spices and bitter herbs.
Tangy finish with limes and grapefruits.
This is a nice Albariño from California. Good by itself or with food. Tasty and tangy. I really enjoyed the nose here, even more than the palate.
Feels like a Sauvignon Blanc with a twist. Very interesting.
Refreshing and good for parties or the pool. I had it all by itself by the beach.

Crisp, fresh and minerality characterise this Ophalum Albariño from Rías Baixas. It is straightforward, uncomplicated, young and very pleasant. — 10 days ago
Pale lemon with crisp stone & tropical fruit aromas and citrus notes. On the palate crisp apple, peach and melon flavors, with mineral tones. Medium finish, good balance on a soft ending. Easy drinking, consistent quality, goes well with lots of foods, especially spicy dishes. Very nice value! — 8 days ago
High acidity, crisp finish, slight floral on the nose. One of my top favorite Albariños. — 10 days ago
This wine really opened up since my last try 2 years ago!
Lemoncurd, white pepper, sereh, ginger, saffron, vanilla, oak and a lovely savory note of wet wool and seaweed. Unusual concentration and creaminess for an albarino. But.... Variety typical acidity - bracing, electric and refreshing - is available in spades.
Terrific wine and a great pairing with a classic carbonara and asparagus...! — 14 days ago
Lively lime pith aroma blowing from the glass...medium weight but really acid-driven mouthfeel. Long, round finish with no sharp edges..,great food wine with French-Vietnamese takeout...California does such a great job on high-acid unoaked varietals and they are garnering an increasingly higher portion of my purchasing budget. Nice wine and great QPR. — 13 days ago
