Musso Sebastiano

Foxen

John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

2021 vintage. Medium body. Plenty of earthiness and frontal fruity chunk that both set the tone and hung out all day. Foundation good but back-end finish, while definitely there, lacking the oomph that other vintage/versions have thrust out there. Vineyard getting replanted currently and will be completely out of the Foxen pantheon in the near future. Other (SRH) vineyards stepping up and in. 09.03.25. — 2 months ago

v14. Very enjoyable. Opaque color. Smokey, meaty nose. Juicy black cherry fruit. Earthy, black pepper, cola, chocolate finish. Nicely balanced. Note: awesome Smokey nose upon opening. — 5 years ago

Sebastiano Syrah 2014

Aged really well. Makes me want to hold on to newer bottles for longer. Having this really makes me appreciate the Syrah more. — 9 months ago

The Ojai Vineyard

Roll Ranch Vineyard Syrah 2019

2019 vintage. Another bigg effort. Medium-heavy/heavy body. Brawnier than the Duvarita and the John Sebastiano vineyard efforts in 2019 but it has its’ own charm. Pair with pretty much anything off the grill. 1.10.24. — 2 years ago

Agricola Querciabella

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2017

Querciabella, in Italian, means “beautiful oak” and surrounds their vineyards. Founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, now managed and owned by Sebastiano Cossia Castiglionii. Sangiovese from biodynamically grown grapes, Ruby, lovely nose of fruit, floral and spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors with earthy herb notes and spicy cacao. Fine tannins, good balance, medium+ finish ending with earthy character. Nice value, consistent. — 4 years ago
