Dark ruby color. Deep aromas of dried cherries, prunes, orange zest, tobacco and leather. The bold palate features dried dark cherries, ripe plum, black currant, coffee, mint, baking spices and vanilla. Long and velvety finish. Very concentrated and bold yet the tannins and texture are quite soft. Fresh acidity and wonderful balance. Full bodied and lush. Excellent! Thanks for the bottle, Kase! — 20 days ago
Absolutely outstanding. I’m shocked… from magnum. — 18 hours ago
Previous tasting note here was for October 2022. Aromas of menthol , plum skins and friable soil. Medium bodied palate showing a strangely sweet chocolate character amongst the savouriness. A few years left in the drinking window. Have the last one in 2+ years. — 15 days ago
If anything, it’s now better than the last time I had this vintage. It was balanced, broad and fun. Still lots of fruit — just amazing body and aroma without any distractions. That’s how Brunello should be! — 4 days ago

The wine is full bodied wine, on nose its big strawberries, vanilla notes, leather and oak. On palate, acidity is medium+, chewy, creamy, firm structure, long finish, big fruits of course. This is a beautiful wine, considering 2018 is not an easy year for montalcino. Decant time is 1 hour, enjoy it now or keep it for 2-3 years. Cheers!! 🍷 — 4 days ago
