Drank 3/25/19. Paired with Rigatoni Bolognese.
Red cherry earth, and leather on the nose. Similar flavors on the palate, with some firm, but well integrated tannins. Sour cherry on the long finish.
I love Italian wines, but could not pick this from sangiovese if tasted blind. A nice chianti alternative.

Thank u @Mauro Gabriele
One of the Marveollous Beaujolais Grand Cru or so... Actually Yarra Valley Nebbiolo
It has a rose that links u to the grape
Other than that a wonderfully made fun wine
I will need to come back to it

Valentine's Day dinner date wine. Not too heavy. Medium body. Really enjoyable. — 2 months ago
Deep garnet with light accents of ruby in the glass. Notes of blackberry jam, bright red cherries, smoky wood, and fragrant herbs all over the nose. I love these Super Tuscans but so many of them can feel a bit homogeneous after a while. Not this one. There’s a nice depth of complexity and fun going on here. Full bodied, big, and well balanced on the tongue. New leather, plenty of tart cherries, pomegranates, and damp grass on the palate. Incredibly interesting little Tuscan gem. — a month ago
I rated this pleasant Italian Barbera on value as well as overall quality. Delicious, full plummy fruit is complimented by a brilliant balance of tannin and acid. I also love the hint of toasty oak and a finish of fresh cherry. Quite the package for a wine at or below $15. Makes me want to go to Italy! — a month ago
Light fragrance. Drinks smoothly and is medium bodied...dry with light fruit and black pepper. Very drinkable. Notes of dark cherry and stone fruit flavors. $84 from Total Wines and More. — 2 months ago
