Alba's finest at Vito's in Pacific Grove. Tar and roses with sour cherry highlights, complementing pasta and heavy meat sauce. The wine continued to open up during a long meal, and a long finish developed. Loved this wine! — 3 months ago

Needs to open in the bottle or be decanted. When that occurs, you find very strong cherry and plum, with an overlay of something like the "Rutherford dust" from Napa. Needs heavy food. — 2 months ago
