Wow. When I think of Germany I think of wonderful white wine, not red. This 2019 vintage is a bright acidic Pinot Noir, Spatburginder in German, from Franken(stein— not really) has raspberry and dried blueberry flavors. Drink with food, great with mushroom béchamel lasagna. Recommended. — 6 months ago

Salt is a blend of 85% Skin-Contact Grüner Veltliner, 10% Chardonnay, 5% Albariño -- it's bright with fresh acidity. Lemon zest, grapefruit and unripened nectarines with a flinty finish makes you think the Albariño leads in this blend. — 6 months ago
Rhône Valley wine sandwiched between Côtes du Rhône and Chateauneuf regions. Black raspberries, dried herbs, dried meat (?) or something like that in the nose, with mouth drying tannins, and tastes of plums and raspberries. — 3 months ago

2021 Vintage. White pepper, blackberries, plum aroma. Medium body Pinot Noir from Monterey CA. Nice acidity balanced tannin, juicy bright red berries and fruity tea notes, hint of vanilla, and mocha (?). A pleasure to drink alone, but could pair with a variety of foods, roasted chicken, roasted veggies, grilled beef with rosemary. — 2 months ago
