Deep ruby in color; black cherries, black plums, and graphite on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like strawberry sauce, hibiscus, dried herbs, and star anise with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I like it. — 8 months ago
Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir.
