Always a fun ringer in a double blind. Hard to call Chardonnay. — a month ago
There’s village Burgundy and then there’s Roumier Chambolle-Musigny! 2016 is in a perfect spot, ushering in secondary complexity at age nine in a captivating perfume synonymous with the Domaine, and a structured, but silky mineral inflicted palate with fine grained tannins. Roumier always hits 🫰🏻 — a month ago
Delicious 2019 vintage — 3 days ago
Quite deep ruby , narrow ruby rim. Deep and more concentrated on the nose , with dark cassis , ripe summer fruits , dark cherry , grafite , oyster shell notes. On the palate this is quite rich and decadent , cassis , ripe blackberry , blueberry a, dark cherry . Sweet but ample tannin , balanced acidity , quite rich but well balanced , good blackcurrant, grafite tinged , length . This is showing well but will continue to do so over the next 10-15 years , perhaps longer . — 23 days ago
Even more fantastic than the previous bottle of 2010 I enjoyed a year ago. Decanted and enjoyed over 7 hours. This was good from first pour but became great and then magnificent over the next 3.5 and 7 hours. It was still full of verve on the last sip! Early only it was more dark fruit but over time the wines softened and became a bit sweeter and rounder. Tremendous length and complexity. — 15 days ago
In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Tasting well now! — 3 months ago
Conrad Green

Dark and bridging. Some spice and bridging herbal notes. Gnarly fruit. Still quite dense. Serious stuff — a day ago
