Europe is old world, they expect you to know My the region.
TOSCANO- Sangiovese is grown there.
60% Sangiovese. 40% Syrah. Sits on the skins for 12 hours. Ferments for 10 days, aged in stainless steel.
Very dry. Light in body. Pale, almost transparent salmon in color. Easy drinking. Bright. Meant to be consumed fresh. Patio pounder.
Two ways to make rosé. Bleeding the wine or pressing the wine.
Pressing is the right way.
Bleeding is the “fake way”

Birthday celebration for @Cody Uzzel at Lucio’s with a bunch of friends. All wines (except sparklers) tasted blind.
I really enjoyed this wine: chiseled, muscular, and full of life. Cherries, blackberries, pipe tobacco. A fun pick! — a month ago
