Med ruby, med+ aromas of red cherry, med+ taste red cherry, red fruit in general; it reeks burgundy w/generous acidity & minimal, if any, flab, terroir driven. — 2 years ago
2022/5/20-21, alongside the 2014 Perrieres VV. Compared to the Perrieres, this has a thicker honeyed character, with a bit of tropical fruit (though not excessive). There’s more sweet fruit vs. acid, though again, overall it’s still very well balanced. — 4 years ago

Bordeaux, but make it fun and unserious! Light tannins, great balance, graphite, muted red fruit. — 10 months ago

2022/5/20-21. We had this alongside the Sous le Château from the same vintage. Rich yellow. This is the leaner, stonier of the two, with a nice sour-sweet citrus profile. There’s a subtle honied creaminess hiding in the background - less prominent than with the Château, but clearly there, suggesting this is in its prime drinking window. — 4 years ago
Plenty of cherries 🍒 notes so fresh and bright. Still very good the next day chalky. Beautiful Burgundy but at 100$? And in October 25% tariffs on top. I think for us mortals it will be soon game over for wines from this region. Even Bourgogne’s go now for 30-40$. In the future I will focus on wines which emulate Burgs but are still affordable. — 7 years ago
