Excellent California Cab - full bodied but juicy without excess tannins, berry flavor, low acid. Easy drinking either with food or by itself! — 9 months ago
Pretty damn Burgundian effort here. Sappy cherry fruit, almost cherry liqueur-like, forest floor, crushed rock, a little baking spice. Intense yet nearly weightless in the mouth. Tannin resolved, great acids. Surprisingly low alcohol (12.4%). Very nice. — 4 years ago
A very nice drink, and it gets better as the evening goes on. Can age a bit longer — 8 days ago
Coffee, vanilla, plums, raisins on the nose. Light to medium fruit with hints of coffee, caramel, toasted oak, and a hint of tannins. This has a nice balance of fruit, spice and tannins, but is a little light for my taste. This bottle is quite enjoyable, but Hartford has others that are better. — 4 years ago
Covid Bottle 3. A little spicy. 2017 — 5 years ago
Color of deep purple. Nose of nice dark fruits, oak, some spicy alcohol. Taste follows the nose with addition of chalky mineral note, rind, just a tiny bit sweet and low tannins. Taste is mellow with flavors, aftertaste is medium, clean with bittersweet note. Nicely done. — 2 years ago
Best in a while. Fruit forward, low tannins, easy drinking. — 5 years ago
