Broc Cellars
Love Red North Coast Carignan Blend
I love all of Chris’s wines (Broc is the only winery we’re currently a member at) and even these entry level bottles truly impress. I was surprised at the level of depth and intensity on this bottle, wonderful ripe red and black fruit, aromatic and friendly. Low on tannin but the acid provides wonderful structure to support the bushels of fruit. Great pairing for a dim sum spread and a couple Szechuan-inspired dishes. One of my favorite $20 bottles in recent memory.

Dec 19th, 2021This is an amazing and yet surprising wine! We are drinking from the canned version of this wine and it’s delicious. There is a level of depth I wouldn’t have expected. Great fruit, nice level of tannin and acidity. Eating with homemade pizza.
