Médium ruby , medium ruby pink rim . Needs time to open up , with spiced red cherry , cut herbs , violets , slightly toasty hints . On the palate very intense red fruits , high acidity and quite gritty tannin . Quite raw and young this , really needs time . Quite saline and mineral on the long , quite lean finish , menthol tinged finish . Needs 5-10 years really will last a further 10 . Very promising . — 5 days ago
Blinded, I thought this was a Left Bank Bordeaux. I’m useless with Bordeaux blends. Felt Cab-dominated with the obvious pyrazine notes. Vintage-wise, I was going between 2015 and 2018, so not far off. Youth and ripeness were the clues. Wine-wise, not exactly what I like but I thought it was solid. Plummy fruit, herbs, wood, earth, and some underlying minerality. — a month ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of cherry, sage, tar, vanilla, and violet. Medium-plus body, with medium-plus tannins and high acidity. Lengthy finish. Meaty bouquet surprisingly similar to Northern Rhone Syrah. Rounded and plush. — 5 days ago

2005 vintage. Decanted with some sed and tasted over the course of two hours. Nice nose. Chunky finish that found a bit of finesse as time went on. Solid but unspectacular. 3.3.24. — 25 days ago
