Drinking the 2016 in 2024. Deep rich color. Very nice legs. Earthy with leather notes bouquet. Very easy drinking. Deep ripe fruit with a slightly sweet finish. Low tannins. — 3 months ago
Excellent red. Was surprised and pleased. Will buy again — 6 days ago
It needed a lot of air to start to show well. — a month ago
A crazy nose. Smells like a Barolo. Stinky tar, intense and full. Tobacco and wood. Odd. Not unpleasant but would never think this was burg? — 2 months ago
A savory red blend from Pessac-Léognan, 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Sauv and since it is aged more than 50% of the Merlot on terracota amphorae the tannins are as silky and gentle as it can get. Velvety and fresh mouthfeel. Already started to pick its prime time. Drinking now or within the next 3 years will just as great! — 24 days ago
The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is understated on the nose, unfolding in the glass with fine delineation and poise, becoming more floral with aeration but never impeding across the pure red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, on another level of freshness compared to its peers with a prolonged, lightly spiced finish. This is one of the standout wines from this Grand Cru - superb. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

A warm vintage produced a wine with gentle tannins and soft red fruit with raspberry, strawberry, red currant, violet and an enticing hint of graphite and forest floor. Beautiful balance of tannin and fruit with medium acidity and a very long finish. — 16 days ago
