2005. Perhaps a bit past its prime. But still excellent. Morphed to a chalky sense on the palate. Still loved it. — 5 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 1er Chalumaux pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart orchard and tropical fruit: yellow apple, white peach, orange Cuties®️, pineapple, starfruit, lemon curd, white flowers, slivered almonds, and river rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and laden with minerals. Lovely balance. Classic. Drink now through 2043. — a year ago
Was good but not great. Outclassed by the Lafon — 16 days ago
Beautiful bouquet, soft fruit, goes great with filet mignon. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2023 “Noizons” pours a bright ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with abundant bright and tart red fruit with red florals: raspberry, strawberry, roses, mixed spices, and a combination of organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. A very pretty wine that is very young. I expect it to flesh out over the next five years and be quite lovely through 2038. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of Top Gun. No formal notes because it’s a movie theater and we’re drinking out of paper cups. The 2023 “Folatièries” is youthful but already delicious; I’m sure the vintage has a role to play. There’s a lovely balance of fruit and structure. Classic Beaune characteristics.
