Pretty good. Smooth — 4 months ago

Woods, woods, & autumnal woods.
Light brown/reds abound. Cherries and leather and dead leaves, trees. Definitely a wine that hasn’t been futzed with. Gulpable as L.F. is known do say.
Hits those casual Nebbiolo notes across the spectrum, perfect w left over Sunday gray and ravioli.

it has high alcohol, but i feel cool nuance, because it has sharp acidiy and lifted aromas. Well balanced and enjoyable classic Syrah beauty. — 5 years ago
Sangiovese DNA strong here with tomato and cherry notes, but the other grapes (syrah, merlot) provide a bit of spice, rounder texture, and complexity. — 2 months ago
We had the 2007 Vintage on 2/21/26. An excellent aged Brunello. Leather, tobacco, raspberry, and rose petals. All the expected scents and flavors are there. I am glad we had this now; probably not going to be good much longer — 4 months ago
Last of three bottles of this. It’s never been the fruitiest or friendliest Brunello. And it’s still quite tannic, but it’s resolving well and, in my view, at its peak. To wait longer for the remaining tannins to fully drop would be at the expense of the remaining fruit. Color is going brown at the rim. Nice intensity and decent balance right now. Mostly tertiary notes, but there is a core of morphing fruit underneath. Should go well with the Tuscan beef stew (Peposo) I’m making. — 5 months ago
Simply delicious. Best Pecorino I’ve had. — 5 years ago
Pretty and very tannic. Great palate progression. WG $13.75 — 5 years ago
2023 vintage, deep cherry and floral aromas on the nose, light fruit forward taste with a smooth finish; decently balanced Sangiovese, great pairing with bolognese. — 4 months ago
