Some white peach, almond, subtle plum skin. If you don’t see the color, it drinks surprisingly close to a southern Italian white like Greco di tufo — 3 months ago
Yes…I know..a tad too early. But any chateau that has a lighthouse (built 1611 AD) in the middle of its vineyards deserves a look. And I’m so glad I did. Classic Bordeaux profile made up of 60% Cab, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit V. With a QPR of $18 this Mèdoc is simply crushing it. Cellar worthy? Absolutely! 😎 — 5 months ago
First taste!? Mature with a bit of bricking but still nice solid color and bouquet of mature red fruits and earth. Velvety and enticing on palate. Excellent with Evan’s Shanghainese pork belly. 51/43/4/2 Merlot/Cab/CabFranc/Petit Verdot on label from Bernard Magrez touting same attention as his Pape Clement, and long history dating back to 1120. Importer label says 37/55/6/2 instead! (Oldest in Medoc, 1400 by house of Foix loyal to King of England. 1486 Camet new owner. 1500s by Michel de Montaigne.) — 25 days ago

Ready to drink already. Soft fruit and a well integrated structure. — 3 days ago
2022 vintage. Dark red, much deeper colour than usual for this estate. Marie-Laure Lurton seems to have gone for a bit more extraction in this exceptional vintage. More powerful than usual, with a fresh black fruit personality, embedded in a tight, ripe tannic structure. Serious length too. Decanting recommended,as it showed better the next day. Ab. 14%. — 2 months ago
Deep red fruit, cassis, slightly dusty. Explodes at first, then recedes with time. Wow. — 5 months ago
