Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — 8 months ago

Monopole - Quite tannic.
Has another 5+ years of life ahead of it. Cherry, raspberry - really incredibly tannic! Try again in 2030? Mulberry (yep have a tree so i can compare). Perhaps cranberry - but really nothing along the line „holy shit“ never had this before, Yes an iconic wine - but that does mean i will give it high points just because of the pedigree and 300$ for these is steep! — 17 days ago
