Great, lively, concentrated gamay. Ruby colour/deep purple. Open black cherry nose. A fresh and tender mouth, with a great aromatic concentration developing aromas of rose petals, iris, undergrowth and peppery notes. A beautiful Beaujolais wine vinified in Burgundy style. Good guard potential.

Superbe gamay concentré et vif. Robe rubis/pourpre profonde. Nez ouvert cerise noirs, griotte. Bouche fraîche et tendue, avec une grande concentration aromatique développant des arômes de pétales de rose, iris, notes sous-bois et poivrée. This is just so bright and zingy and friendly. Juicy crisp cherries on the nose with a wee bit of crushed stone. Fresh and fruity and zesty in the mouth. A little chalky tannin and a nice slight bitter note in the finish. How they got this sort of freshness in such a hot year is beyond me. Just a great weeknight dinner wine with just about anything. — 3 months ago
