Really quite nice. On the very restrained end of the spectrum. 12.5%, quite herby and minerally vs fruity. Hadn’t had Chacra before and so made it part of my “branch out” case with wines from outside of France, Italy, and Germany. Nice pairing with mustard and tarragon chicken thighs. Great delicacy to the mouthfeel. Finish a bit lacking keeping this from being higher. — 2 months ago

Soft, easy drinking and lovely. However, not at all a classical tannic, leathery, flat iron steak wine. Lovely — 3 months ago
Needs time to blow off the baby fat, better on day 2 actually.
Fruit forward with ripe raspberries & huckleberries with some baking spice, a touch of bark and a a fresh, mineral note.
On the palate this is plush with velvety, juicy, rich tannins, fresh acidity and a nice mineral streak. Balanced & with nice flow.
Unabashedly new world style yet with a good drink factor. — 5 months ago
Medium-pale ruby color.
Aromas of red fruit.
Dry. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, strawberry floral. Soft, supple tannins.

Superb, complex Malbec from Neuquén province of Argentina. With Javier and Chieko in Buenos Aires. Crazy inexpensive here (equivalent of US$5.50) but still toward the upper range of Malbecs. — 3 months ago
