This is a classic! Decanted for 3 hrs. Clear watery hue, beautiful pale Garnett in the middle. Medium viscosity, medium alcohol. On the nose, red cherry, strawberries, flowers, spices - thyme, clove, wet cigar, wet leaves. On the palate, confirmed red cherries, strawberries and powerful/rigid but silky tannins and racy acidity to balance it all. Long earthy finish. Elegant yet tough...like a ballerina! Very well balanced and serious wine from a good producer. This is their entry level Barbaresco that punches above its weight for what it costs. Stocking up.. this will drink even better in 5 years. — 4 years ago
An immaculately golden color in the glass with vigorous perlage. At first the nose is resplendent with floral aromas. Just so, so very pretty. Freshly baked bread, lemon peel, and just the faintest hint of cinnamon. Stone fruit, mint, and rosemary to boot.
Pure Chardonnay from the four Grand Cru villages of Mesnil, Chouilly, Avize, and Cramant. Aged for up to five years on lees with a dosage of 8 g/l. Exquisite and as graceful as a ballerina, this is easily one of the best NV Blanc de Blancs around. Silky smooth but with tension and excitement for days.
Exceedingly pure and vibrant. Let it sit for a while and those gorgeous floral accents begin to fade and the fruit becomes more noticeable. Citrus and stone fruits with a touch of pepper. The finish is long and lovely. I could drink this every single day. — a year ago
Gorgeous, a young Sophia Loren, classic beauty with pure beam of cherry fruit mingled with dried herbs, olive, damp Earth and almost a subtle minty & licorice note. Just the right amount of juicy acidity & tannins - so cohesive & balance like a Ballerina. Need more of this type of Chianti Classico in my life. 3rd generation women wine makers. Owner was a ballerina and all wines are named for a pose. Natural wine. Lovely and tart. — 5 years ago
Stunning color w/nary a sign of age: huge fog of spearmint & mineral on open. 2hrs lifted, hi-note dissipates to reveal copious black cherry, blackberry & plum pudding, chocolate, licorice, sweet freshly turned soil. Deep intense reservoir of flavors. Extraordinary density & concentration yet a real ballerina... thoroughly enjoyed this on a special day. Has miles to go tho — 4 years ago
Kirsebær, hindbær, lidt fad, tobak, skovbund. Fnuglet og ret elegant ballerina, trods årgangen. — 5 years ago
Was not sure what this was going to taste like as I never had one with this much age on it. An uncanny combination on the nose and palate of citrus and tropical fruit .A profile that overloads the senses. Imagine an elephant as a graceful ballerina . The palate is best described as three dimensional. The wine’s structure makes me feel this wine is in suspended animation and will drink well for a very long time. — 5 years ago

Beautiful. From legendary Thierry Germain. Ungrafted rootstocks planted on sandy topsoil. 12,5% abv. Dense yet weightless. Like ballerina performing a physically demanding solo yet evoking a sense of lightness and grace on the edge of your tongue. High acidity, soft chalky-type (drying) tannins, but juicy. — 7 months ago
