Found a great champagne at dinner. $52 a bottle -- tastes similar to ones multiple times more — 2 years ago
This is a delicious rosé, 52% Mourvèdre and 48% Grenache. The fruit is wonderfully ripe and the wine has some right to it making it very flexible at the table. Strawberry, raspberry, cherry, red currant, plum, blackberry - there is a lot to love in this crisply acid wine — 4 years ago
Pommard Clone. Bought 3/2025 $52. Delicious like all other ED PN. Rich fruit, smooth long finish. Better once had a chance to open up. — 7 months ago
Purple in color with a purplish rim.
Strong nose of black and blue fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice and chocolates.
Full bodied and soft with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, blueberries, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, tobacco, spices and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty GSM blend from Chalk Hill in California. Fruit forward and elegant. Spicy and entertaining.
Showing good balance with nice complexity, and a soft mouth feel.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself as a sipping wine.
I had it before, and this time I gave it a light chill and had it by the pool.
Paired nicely with the French Brie cheese.
A blend of 66% Grenache, 21% Syrah and 13% Mourvèdre. Aged in Hungarian oak barrels. A small production of only 2,600 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Eola-Amity Hills Dukes Family Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022. Bought 3/25 $52. Waited too long to describe, but know it's good — 7 months ago
Garrigue, wild herbs, some lavender as well, the bottle doesn’t say, but Delectable shows a “Syrah cuvée” and a “Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée”, and this clearly seems Syrah, nicely balanced, savory, no excessive heat, this is quite nice, longish finish. [Checked my source, and this cuvée is 52% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 23% Carignan.) — 10 months ago

Bright, summery, very very good — 4 years ago

Very hipster tattoo styled label. 52% Petite Verdot, 25% Cab Sauv, 23% Malbec. Dark, dark maroon color. Aroma is gravel and molasses. Maybe a hint of berry. Flavors are beefy and big. Lots of dried black cherry. Some molasses. Tannins are well represented. Has that classic Matchbook herbal streak. This went well with the lamb and mushroom dish I made. A great blend. Lots of zip and zing. Delicious. — 4 months ago
