Half of us loved this, the other half not so much. Count me in the first group. Pours a deep yellow, a bit cloudy. Quite rich yet also tense and tight, lemon focused with some yeasty grip. Some orchard fruit shows with time. This has some heft, with a grippy, yeasty finish. Needed a decant. Super complex. Striking and unique. Need more... — a year ago

Don’t recall if I tricked this back from Crete or no but whatever. It’s as easy drinking with smooth plum skin and cherry. Dry without being too sweet. Perfect with a Philly 7.10.87 — 4 years ago
Reminds me some really good condrieu at a fraction of the price!! — 3 months ago
Nuanced nose with damson plums, stewed raspberries, plum crumble. A pinch of baking spice, a whiff of wilted flowers. Very fine actually.
On the palate this has a surprisingly light yet precise structure. There’s finesse and an airy lightness supported by a frame of very fine yet firm tannins and bright juicy acidity. Ripe red fruit and a hint spice towards the long finish.
This is very nice!

Very funky amber wine from Lefkada Island in the Ionian Sea. Not quite like anything I’ve tried, but similar to Italian orange wines (like a Falanghina) with a bit of effervescence. Also has some old-world, pine wine vibes. Hints of baked apple or pear, but dry and adventurous. Pair it with something creamy. 12.5% abv. Zero-zero vinification with a few days of skin contact (embracing the pretentious natural wine trend 🤗) AND organic. — 2 years ago
