The kind of wine you never won’t to end… just sensational. What a beautiful expression of Napa and the wine was drinking beautifully with 15 years of age. — 12 days ago

Purchased during September 2022 visit to the winery. “Billet Doux” means “Love Note” in French. 58% Semillon; 36% Sauvignon Blanc and 6% Muscat. Late harvest dessert wine in style of Sauternes. Mango, apricot, mandarin orange and peach fruit, with honey and ginger. Sweet and rich with nice balance. — a year ago
This is what every Cabernet Sauvignon should taste like. Despite being from Italy instead of California, this Cabernet has the richness of a Corison or other top Cabernet Sauvignon, but for less money. Deep intense stewed fruit to start with plum and blackberry, rich earthiness, chocolate and tobacco, then perfect tannins to finish. And aged just the right amount now to smooth out the tannins. Buy some if you can find it. At $67.50, this Cabernet Sauvignon was an extraordinary value. — 2 years ago
My monthly Monday Burger Night and I shared this one. My first time cracking into my Corison single vineyard allocation and I’m so happy I did. The beauty and freshness of this one is next level. Decanted about 30 minutes and it continued to evolve over course of evening. Impeccably balanced, powerful, yet refined. — 10 months ago

Structurally resolved but palate is still led by primary fruit and oak. Good balance and lingering complexity - personally would prefer to revisit this in several years — 4 days ago
