Beautiful intense yellow colour not a lot in the nose but the taste is wonderful and so complex. Its all you can wish for in a superdry good withe, stones and lime, altibess from the sea, lemon zest but more sour, a taste of a different place and of wet autumn with sun, some kind of gooseberry like they used to taste as a child. 2016 perfectly age so much complexity and lot of balance and fruit with the acid but mixed and wonderful. Very nice on its own and with light food can match cream and pepper and seafood. After a while in the glass notes of nashi pears and rubbers appears — 15 days ago
Needed air, this is a very young wine, opened up to dark fruits, very generous and full bodied palate, rich and wide, the texture is silky and almost thick, nice bottle as is but will wait for the others in this vintage.
Très jeune, a eu besoin d’air, fruits noirs, bouche généreuse, assez pleine et riche, texture veloutée et presque dense, très bien. 89-90

This very well may be better than Louis Latour La Grande Roche!! Amazing, well balanced and complex. Not too overpowering. Exquisite. — 14 days ago
Globs of cassis with either tar or licorice (both?) bringing up in the rear. Tasty sour cherries give it a lively jolt. The juice totally saturates across one’s taste receptors and remains with you a good 90 seconds from down the hatch. Yes, it’s young....but, if its current structure continues hand in hand this is going to be a classic Morgan down the road. A gorgeous wine! — 3 days ago
