Les Vergers Clos Saint-Marc Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2014

A lifted, polished and seductive nose with white blossom, chalk, salinity, lemon oil. The palate is gorgeous- bright, resolved and really pretty. Hints of lime and rounded luscious fruit but all perfectly in place with a raveneau-like combination of lightness and intensity. I guess the knock would be it doesn’t have the length and power of the best grand cru white burgs, but this is a superb wine and has a good few years ahead-especially if it avoids premox. — 19 days ago

Domaine de Bel-Air Moulin-a-Vent Gamay 2017

The 2017 Cuvée Les Burdelines is outstanding. A very refined effort with fine grained tannin, firm and dense fruit and a lovely sense of lift. It’s a bit tense and tightly wound for drinking now, but it should reward one or two years of patience. — a month ago

Bordeaux Blanc 2018

It does not have the chemical small. This is pretty good in terms of price/taste ratio. — 17 days ago
