Les Vergers Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Bright, uplifting and dazzling. Crisp lemon and hints of green apple, slate, white flowers. Beautifully posed acid and long. Delicious.

Bright and fresh. A hint of sandalwood, yellow flowers, lemon oil. A streak of minerality and nice balancing acidity. Punchy and delicious.

I had one of these yesterday and it was poxed, but this bottle is fine. Lovely bright Chassagne fruit with seashells, salinity and great vim and vigor on the palate. Lovely stuff.

This is rocking right now. An exhilarating nose of white flowers, lemon, almonds, chalk rock. Great zest and lift in the palate with bright fruit and good length. All the power and acidity of 14. What fun.

Crisp citrus and saline with a bit of mint and some sandalwood. Medium and clear. Not a huge finish but very pretty

Vivid and bright on the nose with floral, citrus and mineral. Very crisp and zesty on the palate with lovely thrust and a hint of sweetness. Very good.

In a great spot but needs time.

A lemon sorbet like nose. Loads of white flowers, energy, minerality and zest with lovely poise and a streak of vibrant acidity. Medium finish. Very young but really delicious and vivacious.
