So velvety and soft. Thus super precise and with a very long goose bumby finish — 3 months ago
Technically sound and classic in style, though it doesn’t quite deliver the excitement one might expect from this famed vineyard. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits, violets, forest floor, earthy tones, subtle spice, and a touch of meaty savoriness. Mid-weight and silky on the palate, with an underlying stoniness. Elegant and admittedly enjoyable, but it honestly doesn’t fully showcase the pedigree of its origin, which aligns with my broader experience of this producer’s wines. — a day ago
2020 Disgorgment is utter perfection, a particular favorite, exploding with infinite depth of red berry fruit and chalky minerality with a vibrant, chiseled palate with singular texture and a finish that keeps on going. VO base with a touch of still Pinot from Francis Egly. Nothin’ like it. — 3 months ago
18-8, Disgorged in 2023. Holy shit, this is bloody amazing!!!! The nose is intensely elegant. Honey brioche, baked apples and spices. Bubbles are fine and sexy. On the palate, it's super - complex, layered and lengthy. And the fact it's only Disgorged last year...wow! My first Selosse. I now know why it's so hyped and I cannot disagree. Chapeau. — 2 months ago

Medium deep ruby , garnet . Quite rich and deep fruits , with some dusty herbal elements . On the palate also quiet ripe and rich , sweetly fruited . Dark cherry , with some summer fruits , blackberry . Good balance however , with sweet tannin and balanced acidity . Still showing lots of fruit , but drinking now but can can last well , probably improve over the next 5 years or so . — 10 days ago
