I love a Provence Róse with a little age to it! Presents with cherries, strawberries, melon, nectarine, and cucumber. Nice viscosity on the palate, nice long herbal finish, with a touch of lavender. I prefer Rock Angel over Whispering, which has a bitter floral element to it that bites, just my taste preference. — 7 months ago

Blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with splashes of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec all SLD estate fruit, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and currants with tobacco and herb spice. Fine smooth tannins, approachable, long finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and herb mineral character. Nice! — 11 days ago
Wow! Even better than a few months ago. Olives, blueberries, game, forest, pepper, plums. It’s interesting having this a few days after storm Syrah. Very similar. Love that there are more of these us syrahs with good fruit but balance. Central coast style. — 6 months ago
2022 vintage.
Painted Rock has always been one of the best producers in British Columbia.
Aromas of deep black fruit black flowers and perfumed.
Rich and juicy. Black berries, spicy raspberries and so smooth on the finish. — 14 days ago
Visual tells you that this is a mature example. Nose presents olives peaches. Palate is all about macerated olives and briny notes. Nice delicate nutmeg and roasted nut notes combine with ripe white fruits and moderate sweetness. I love the Hudson vineyard so wanted to take a look at this. We got to this a little too late, but it’s still excellent. Its pedigree shines thru. — 4 months ago

This is a “wifey” rating…
Caramel and butterscotch notes on the nose and palate. Roasted pineapples and limes present on the mid palate, with a note of preserved citrus fruits. Evolving to a better place as it warms up in the glass. Getting better with bottle age. — 2 days ago
