Another 4th Friday for the books. What a much needed time out of the house and to be with friends after this past week.
I’ll be honest...I guilted Dan in to opening this as Aubert’s Hudson release is next month and I’ve never had it. Still quite acidic. Lemon peel, meringue, honeyed cashews. These seem to be a bit more approachable at a young age than other Aubert chards.

Creamy and delicious. Round mouthfeel. Pear, baked bread, white flowers and lemon. My wife says a touch of smoke on the finish. Fantastic wine.

This one sure needs a decant. Dense nose of tropical fruit, butter, oak and vanilla. Full and balanced body. This is a full throttle Chard. Long finish. Great example of the style.
