Excellent wine especially for the price. Oak and jammy nose and a bit of a subdued spicy thing…. Body seems med-full - taste is juicy but with a bit of depth though not super complex - tannins in nice balance.. maybe it’s my mood but je dig. — a month ago
Cherry pie, sandalwood and cedar, stewed red fruits, a hint of marjoram or Thai basil, anise, warm spice, incredibly rich and profound. Slightly cloudy in the glass. Perfectly aged. — 22 days ago
Sapid and lengthy with good energy, but the new oak character was quite jarring at this stage. Odd considering there’s little to no new oak according to the specifications sheet. Regardless, there was heaps of butterscotch, popcorn, and toasty notes, which seem to dominate the citrus and stone fruits (even a touch of pineapple) after 3+ hours open. Flinty (treading towards a petrol-like character) and lightly floral aromas add to the intrigue. Medium-to-full bodied, with a mineral laser-focused finish. It misses the mark for me right now especially when it comes to Lamy, but I can certainly see this improving once the oak integrates. — a month ago
Still a delightful wine, just in a more well-aged way. — 6 days ago

My favorite Santenay vineyard. Lovely red fruits with a terrific streak of minerality. — 7 days ago
