Oct 14th, 2021Color of dark purple, a bit cloudy. Nose of cocoa, black cherry, tobacco leaves, aldehyde, savory spices, oak, and plum. Nose is decent, with a slight too much of alcohol strength. Taste of good acidity, solid tannins, a bit peppery, black cherry, vanilla, slightly sweet, chocolate, oak, and quite dense and chewy. Aftertaste of some more cocoa, tobacco leaves, and good tannins.

Oct 21st, 2020Ruby hue with high saturation. Pronounced aromas of cassis, cherry, plum, tar, and vanilla, with subtler notes of bell pepper and grass. Full body; firm, grippy, medium-heavy tannins; and high acidity. Strong and jammy on the nose, but elegant and refined on the palate. Worth holding for several more years, but also drinking well now. Blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), and Petit Verdot (5%).
