BAM goes the nose. Full of banana, minerality, slight petrol, mango, grass, and more. Palate isn’t quite as full. That plus medium minus acidity drops the score a little lower than other Wiemer rieslings. — a month ago
This was 100% CF - no sign of age, inky, w/impressive aromas of cherry cough drop, herbaceous, white pepper, medicinal - old school vibes on nose. Bit unruly on palate, definitely felt the heat and finish had some astringency. Not a huge fan of Paso Robles fruit… Still a decent quaff and scratches itch for varietal CF. — 4 months ago
Great Riesling fe a single vineyard in FLX. Lots of mineral / limestone. Dry yet floral. — 4 months ago
I liked it Anita hated it… very heavy for a Riesling I liked it — 3 months ago
Great standby Riesling and an excellent value at ~$16-18 - a tinge sweet and leans towards the plushier, fruitier Riesling style. Very low petrol notes, tastes like honeyed green grapes, white flowers. — 4 months ago
Nice, young, tight knit. Light on Franc herbaceousness, but firm and fine in its structure. Best in 1-5 years from now. — 17 days ago
Riesling, not Gewurtztraminer. Very good Riesling from the finger lakes - Eli’s find. @Eli Barton — 2 months ago
8000th wine on here and it’s a doozy! Beautiful raspberry and blueberry fruit, exotic barrel notes, integrated perfectly. White pepper. Stems. Umami. Super exotic. Top notch barrels. Lighter than expected. Best domestic syrah ever? Kinda… thanks for tuning in! 8000 now and more to go. Maybe not Hahahha — 4 months ago
