A surprisingly gorgeous evening in DC tonight at a favorite classic bistro. This Giggie has loads of ripe fruit, but is drinking really well already. Very soft, decent acids. Some savory notes. The alcohol (15%) pooks through on the back half of the palate. But it was served a little warmer than I’d like, so that probably amplified it. — 10 months ago

Pale lemon with pronounced stone fruit and citrus aromas with floral blossoms, slight petrol notes. On the palate flavors of apricot, peach, pear and lime citrus with vivid acidity, minerality and spice. Medium+ finish ending dry with fresh fruit, floral and mineral notes. — 8 months ago

This is lovely, needed an hour of air and warming up. Good fruit, acidity, stone, lemons, hint of bread and almonds. Would get again at this price. I like le mesnil better though. — 6 months ago
