Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2018

This is drinking really nicely now- highly recommend- sometimes you have to wait for these older vintages to shine- this one is light &fruity, A nose that will challenge not only your memory but your palate. Notes of strawberry, cherries, a hint of vanilla. It's mouth feel is perhaps the most even ever felt on this tongue. Perhaps amongst one of their best vintages of from the" legend-(wait for it) dairy" terriors in the Santa Rita lowlands that Grey and Frank have offered. Although this label continues to amaze year after year with their simplicity, consistency and value.
One would expect to lay much more for this bottle, which makes it a very good choice.

Perfect Set Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2015

Simple and straight forward Sta. Rita Hills. This was a interesting vintage, early harvest and small yields. Giving nice fruits but very light palate texture and finish. — 5 years ago

Highliner Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2019

Tighter than a Nun’s… Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, cranberry and oak. A little high alcohol concentration at first. Needs to open up a bit. Tasty red fruit with a oaky finish. — 10 months ago

Gen Red Central Coast Red Blend 2021

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2021 Gen Red is a fun red blend. Dark red fruit, menthol, spice and soaring aromatics all run through this perfumed, supple red. The 2021 is a charmer. $24.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023) — 4 months ago

Benedict Vineyards Pinot Noir 1989

A bit of stink that blows off, then surprisingly fresh fruit. Clean dark berries and great purity. Long and settled. Good balance — 5 years ago
