Just a terrific wine and site. Enormously complex nose of crushed, dried, candied lemons and just a huge waft of such precise and clean minerality. Wet soil. Wet rocks. Lemon of the gods. Palate is just stunning. So elegant and mineral like nothing else. Sweet desiccated candied lemons on the palate all wrapped in silk. Terrific purity and intensity and such lovely powdered minerals in the finish and then a blast of the unique role and swee lemon character. It finishes, rocky, savory and mineral. So long. Epic structure and length. A masterpiece that will only get better with air. Unreal mouthfeel and texture. Just stunning. On days 2 and 3 this went from strength to strength. Stunning balance, purity and mouthfeel and astonishing length. Maybe a 9.9. — 8 months ago

Loads of petrol, liquid mineral, and apple skin fruit on the nose. Still quite fresh (fresher than a bottle I had several years ago, as I recall). Rich, with tons of dry extract, in the mouth. Deeply mineral, dense, slightly bitter-edged apple fruit. Almost overwhelming. But in a good way. Great wine. — 23 days ago
