Orange, excellent clarity. Pepper note in nose. Not much flavor initially, just a hint of sweetness, finish of tangerine peel and white pepper. Rounded mouthfeel with some mild skin astringency, no surprise for an orange or extended skin contact wine. After a couple of hours, I coaxed some peach flavor out of it; might need some air, more likely I overchilled it. Reasonably priced, decent value. 80/10/10 blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache and Orange Muscat. Beware of strange dirigibles in your vineyard while you are at it… (check the fine print on their label) — 9 days ago
Beautiful beautiful blood orange red shade in the glass.
Like the zing and citrus of a spritz of the oils from grapefruit skin, the herbal, earthen quality of being treed in on a sumptuous hike.
Super crisp, like the snap of biting into an apple, super clear, fruit forward and subtly woodsy. It’s opinionated in one way, and I love that. It takes a stand in its style.

Two years after the last time I had the Boy ‘16 and it has matured a suspicious amount in that two years (while in a wine cooler). Nice, now dominated by caramelized burnt cherry, licorice, underbrush… which sounds good but finished inconsistent and astringent. Disappointing as I was fully expecting improvement. — 23 days ago
Blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah & Mourvedre, deep Ruby with aromas black fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with notes of cacao, spice and earthy notes. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, great mouthfeel (15.2 ABV), ending with fruit and earthy spice, nice! — 3 days ago
Exceptionally light extraction, high toned and infused. Crushed raspberry and cranberry, highly floral almost geranium, dried orange, black tea, dried herbs, potpourri, crushed rock, white pepper, 4-EP. Nice to see some definition fruit return this vintage but definitely microbial and marked by it. — 16 days ago
These rating scales don’t do justice to wonderful wines like this one. If you are looking for a 90+ banger of a wine, then you’ll miss the joy you get from this kind of straightforward pure expression of south Rhone Grenache. It’s so flexible and friendly with so many foods.
If you’ve been drinking $10 wines, then step up to this one and enjoy its clean friendly flavor. If you’ve been snobbishly drinking $25+ wines, then you’re also missing the simple joys of a great table wine like this. — 10 days ago
Crisp, cool, tart, stemmy and fresh.
Raspberries, cranberries, mineral funk, peppery and spicy garrigue and cold rocks (if that makes any sense…), as opposed to the hot terracotta tiles I often get in many other Grenaches.
This has a very cool-climate feel to it, rather delicate and refreshing. Like a Bojo from Oz. Lovely! — 9 days ago

I tend to be rather picky about rosé, but I always love those from the Tavel area. This one is consistently satisfying. Glorious salmon-pink color and fresh, juicy flavors of strawberry and watermelon. Great with our Niçoise salad! 60% Grenache, 13% Clairette, 13% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, 3% Mourvèdre, 1% Bourboulenc. 5/15/22. — 19 days ago
