Great everyday red to be on Nantucket — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of black cherry purple flowers, and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finishes medium. Easy to enjoy with a variety of fare. Drink now through 2031. — a month ago
An interesting history of the Greco di Tufo grape which I won’t detail here (has its own DOCG) - a late ripening Campanian white grape. This wine had a luscious full bodied mid palate - apricots - with a refreshing acid cut. Next night a fruit salad of flavours including mandarin and guava. A great white wine as the weather cools down. — 2 months ago

This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — a month ago
Wonderful! — a month ago
Medium purple in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tests like hibiscus, candied cherries, and a hint of licorice with a long finish. — 2 months ago

Popped in poured; no formal notes. The 2020 Pithos Rosso is, to my palate, a lovely Sicilian alternative to Beaujolais. Delicious, refreshingly fruity and just a touch wild. Sufficient structure to provide enjoyment for the near term, but I would just as well drink now. I really enjoy these wines. — 12 days ago
