The Don Rolando bottling was a tough act to follow, but this Cab Franc is equally impressive.

Perfumed nose of black cherry and plum layered with violet, pencil shavings, tobacco leaf, a subtle green herbal note that added freshness without becoming vegetal. Nice rioja. Warmer than I like but it’s hot this summer. Smooth. Floral notes. Easy to drink. Low tannins. Great taste. Highly recommend. Didn’t even loose my taste for drinking after looking at my wife’s cut open finger from the knives i just sharpened. Dry, doesn’t make your mouth pucker. Gets better the more you drink. 9.2. 33$ great value.
