What a nose. Big time macerated cherries. Confectionary aromas. Mid season cherries and lovely ripeness. Huge mineral background. So stoney. Really alluring and aromatic. Just singing out of the gates. Glorious fruit. Lovely 2012 amplitude. Big time freshness and loads of deep, detailed sweet cherry fruit. This needed a little time to decant and open up. Plum, tobacco, vanilla, and raisins on the nose. A tasty balance of dark berry fruit, oak, and graphite on the palate.
